Abstract Vegetation present in the water streams, on banks and floodplain areas largely affects river hydraulics. Indeed, vegetation significantly influences hydrodynamics, sediment transport, bedforms, pollutant transport. Environmental management of rivers requires an understanding various processes predictive capabilities models. In past, many studies were conducted, especially laboratory settings, order to quantify flow resistance due vegetation.
